Each Lifestyle store, a part of Landmark Group India, brings together five concepts under one roof - Apparel, Footwear, Children Wear & Toys, Household & Furniture and Health & Beauty; offering a convenient one-stop shop and a choice of over 250 national & international brands. 

 

Lifestyle conducts in-store operations-driven training; it has the programme, Stepping Stone, to provide a career progression plan for the staff.

Target consumers: Upper middle class looking for an international shopping experience

Annual turnover (FOR FY 2009-10): Rs 1,074 crore (including VAT)

Percentage of growth in turnover during expansion phase: 21% (YOY growth during FY 09-10)

International presence: Landmark Group has more than 1000 stores across 17 countries.

Total investment layout planned towards expansion: Above Rs 500 crore in next 3 years

Marketing initiatives: Loyalty programme, ‘The Inner Circle’

Technology implementation: Printing of gift vouchers at the stores through the online Gift Voucher Tracking System

By the end of this fiscal, ie, 2010-11, we will be 41 stores (28 Lifestyle departmental stores and 12 Home Centre by Lifestyle). We will be taking our store count to 49 stores (35 Lifestyle departmental stores and 14 Home Centre) stores by 2011-12.
