Lilliput on an expansion spree

Lilliput, the Rs 415-crore kids’ apparel brand has opened its first hyper store at Abu Dhabi in the UAE, making it its ninth overseas market. Over the next couple of years, the Delhi firm plans to enter countries such as Tunisia, Greece, Morrocco, Lebanon and Vietnam. The foray into international markets is franchise-driven. The company plans to start investing in overseas markets only after the next three years. In India, Lilliput currently has 233 exclusive outlets, 250 multi brand outlets in 153 cities.
