Arvind Lifestyle brings US fashion retailer Aeropostale to India

Arvind Lifestyle Brands Ltd. brings another international brand to the Indian market. This time, its American fast-fashion store chain, Aeropostle, which has been launched today at Select City Walk, Saket, New Delhi.

Soon after getting GAP in India, textile giant, Arvind Lifestyle Brands Ltd. brings another international brand to the Indian market. This time, its American fast-fashion store chain, Aeropostle, which has been launched today at Select City Walk, Saket, New Delhi.
The first flagship of Aeropostale in India exhibits an extensive range of clothing and apparels from their Fall-Winter 2015 collection for men and women.  
Speaking on the launch, J Suresh, MD and CEO, Arvind Lifestyle Brands Ltd. said “India is expected to become the world’s youngest emerging economy by 2020, with around 64% of its population in the working age group. Having understood this,we are glad to add power players like Aéropostale as additions to our already fastgrowing fashion portfolio. This young consuming class has new aspirations and is more open to experimenting with fashion brands.”
The American mall-based speciality retailer of casual apparels for young women and men, Aeropostale, plans to increase its footprint PAN India through its partnership with Arvind. The expansion spree includes opening of approximately 30 standalone stores and 25 shop-in-shop locations over the coming three years. Aeropostale will largely target consumers between the age of 14 to 25 with its jeans, hoodies, and tees.
