For joint promotion and development of home stays in Madhya Pradesh Stayzilla.com, one of the leading platforms (website and app) for verified homestays and alternate stays signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (MPSTDC).
The pact was inked in the presence of Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister, MP, Yogendra Vasupal Founder and CEO, Stayzilla.com and Tanvi Sundrayal, Additional Managing Director, MPCTDC.
As per the MoU, Stayzilla will support verification procedures, and will also assist to boost homestays in places of interest within Madhya Pradesh. All places registered with MPSTDC will receive technical support in the form of inventory management and software applications to ensure seamless booking. Also, Stayzilla and MPSTDC will jointly conduct educational and training sessions for homestays registered under MPSTDC. There will be exclusive instructions on best practices such as online usage, content management, operations and expense management.
Elaborating on the deal, Yogendra Vasupal, Founder and CEO, Stayzilla said, "We are absolutely honored to collaborate with MPSTDC for boosting comfortable homestays in Madhya Pradesh. We will be jointly working in the direction of enabling tourists to experience Madhya Pradesh hospitality, cuisine, customs and traditions by staying with families."
MPSTDC website will include a Stayzilla’s website link on its portal that can facilitate booking for both MPSTDC and Stayzilla registered homestays in Madhya Pradesh. Similarly, MPSTDC registered properties will get a separate landing page for its properties on the Stayzilla portal. Each of the MPSTDC homestays registered with Stayzilla shall bear an MPSTDC verified badge on Stayzilla.
Stayzilla which presently has over 8000 homestay units in its portfolio is working at the grassroot level for unlocking more and more numbers of registered homestays in the country. The company has conducted about 10 townhall events in Madhya Pradesh and over 250 workshops across the country to create awareness about homestays and bed & breakfast.
