Voylla plans to open 100 stores by 2016

Jaipur-based online jewellery startup, Voylla has planned to open 100 retail stores across the country with an investment of around 25 crores by the end of 2016.
Voylla had recently secured USD 15 million funds from private equity firm Peepul Capital. The same would be utilised to fuel its expansion plans.
The company has opened its first store in West Delhi. It has three stores in shop-in-shop format at Future group's central mall.
In a recent statement, the company said, "This will complement company's objective to deliver end-to-end service support for customers with the integration of the offline and online channels.”
Commenting on the same, Vishwas Shringi, CEO & Founder, Voylla said “The company plans to set up 100 stores in different formats by the end of next fiscal at Rs 25 crore cost.”
“The company is expected to achieve GMV (gross merchandise value) of about Rs 40 crore in this fiscal and same would grow to Rs 175 crore by next financial year,” he added.
The ecommerce firm has presence in 30 market places- domestic and global.
