With an aim to increase the headcount with almost a 30-40% increase, international F&L Brand, American Swan is planning to hire people for major departments including Marketing, Technology, Merchandising, HR and Finance in the next 6 months. The company has shown an aggressive growth in the business lately and forecasts similar growth in the coming future.
The Brand plans to hire people at all levels right from the head to the executive, in all its verticals. With plans to add significant numbers to its existing team of over 100 people, the brand is also looking to achieve expertise in all the major functions and departments to further streamline the business & its activities.
Commenting on the plans, Sharad Thakur, Chief Business Officer, American Swan said, “American Swan as a Brand has grown tremendously in the past one year. To scale up our operations and capture a larger share of the market, we are looking to hire more people with the appropriate skill-set to take it a notch higher. We plan to add significant man force to the existing one by almost a 30 to 40% at almost all levels.”
The brand is aiming to achieve a GMV of 300 crore by mid-2016, which calls for a complementing support team as well. With the focus on absorbing people from Premier B schools & pass-outs of Fashion institutes like NIFT, Pearl Academy, etc. American Swan is planning to build a Fashion friendly, forward looking team. The strategy would be to tap & get the best resource through Social media, references, Job portals & consultants.
