Bengaluru-based curated online furniture seller Urban Ladder, which forayed into the mattress segment in April last year, claims to witness an exponential 30 percent month-on-month growth in addition to doubling its sale in last quarter.
As per the diverse need of customers across the country, Urban Ladder has tailored international level mattresses keeping in mind the different sleep requirements.
The company provides a '100-day no questions asked trial' on mattresses and customers can choose to return the mattress within 100 days of their purchase for any reason.
"Indians have traditionally not been very conscious on investing in their sleep. However, with the changing times, this pattern is witnessing a shift. At Urban Ladder, we are taking a step ahead and investing in a team that would innovate for the Indian consumers' needs,” said Prithvi Raj Tejavath, VP- Category Management, Urban Ladder.
“In our bid to make homes beautiful, we want to provide our customers the very best of comfortable living. We foresee rapid strides of growth in the sleep category," he added.
The online marketplace has a collection of mattresses, comforters and bed linens. It also has variations like the bachelor mattress that can be used on the floor or the young couple mattress that was launched for this wedding season.
The price range of the mattresses starts from 5,799 and comes with a warranty of up to seven years.
Co-founded by Ashish Goel and Rajiv Srivatsa in July 2012, Urban Ladder aims at providing a curated destination for home solutions, to help the Urban Indian build well-furnished, beautiful homes.
