Leading destination for coupons and discounts,CouponDunia announces its foray into offline retail by offering exclusive deals and listing available discounts for 200+ leading brands across categories like fashion apparel & accessories, baby care, electronics, sports, footwear and home décor. The offers will be available across 12000+ outlets in six cities - Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Ahmedabad and Chennai. The offers can be currently availed through the CouponDunia mobile app on
Android and CouponDunia website and will soon be launched on iOS.
Some of the brands listed on the CouponDunia platforms are Killer, Lawman, Skechers, Marks and Spencer, Calvin Klien, Bombay Dyeing etc. The validity of these deals varies from one brand to other.
The new ‘In-store’ section on the website and the app provides customers with a comprehensive list of deals from over 200 brands. The ‘Near-by’ option in the app displays all offers available near a customer in a map format for quick access. Taking convenience a stepahead, the Geo-fencing feature will allow the users to locate the best deals and discounts as they enter a shopping mall or retail outlet.
The aim is to eliminate the effort of searching coupons and offering saving options at the point of purchase. This feature will soon be launched on Android and iOS platforms.
Commenting on the launch, Ankita Tandon, COO, CouponDunia said, “CouponDunia is currently driving 2% of Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) for Indian e-commerce websites. In order to establish ourselves as a truly ubiquitous brand that enables savings, we needed to be present in more categories, especially in those which dominate an individual’s monthly disposable income. With this thought we launched Food & Beverage offers last year, and this year we have added in-store discounts. In India, in-store expenditure still trumps every otheravenue, thus launching discount offers for this vertical made optimum sense. By making these offers available on the go via our app, we are trying to re-define the offline shopping experience. With our platform merchants gain access tohighly engaged customer base and user acquisition at a lower cost. We plan to scale our offline offering rapidly and aim to hit 50,000 outlets in the next 3-4 months, while adding more categories.”
With this new venture, CouponDunia will now have offers from over 18,000 outlets in the F&B and retail category.
