New Delhi: Fashion-retailer Pantaloons inked strategic deal with online marketplace Jabong to foray into E-tailing space.
'The partnership would combine the strengths of the two companies and boost sales by leveraging the enormous potential of online retail. Pantaloons' strength in the fashion-retail space and its portfolio of exclusive brands would complement Jabong.com's enormous reach to millions of online consumers,' the company said in its statement.
Pantaloons has pan India presence through 96 exclusive stores, across 46 cities, 12 of these stores have been launched in the last 6 months.
Jabong.com is also expanding rapidly and it is now focussing on tier II and tier III market as well.

The first Pantaloons store was launched in Kolkata in 1997. Currently, it is a chain of 96 fashion stores across 46 cities.
