Online classifieds firm Quikr has bought real estate analytics portal RealtyCompass, initially owned by RealtyCompass Propel Holdings, the investment arm of real estate company Casa Grande.
Propel Holdings does angel investment in potential businesses across sectors based on the distinctiveness of the idea and its ability to resolve market and customer needs. It had invested in RealtyCompass as an angel investor three years ago.
M Arun Kumar, founder and partner, Propel Holdings said, "Propel found great fitment in the aligning of realty compass with Quikr and believed Quikr could add lot of depth in to the business and help in growing realty compass faster. It was a rational decision to sell realty compass to Quikr and we are happy we could add lot of value to Quirk's aggressive expansion plans in realty space."
