Walmart adds its 10th B2B online store in Jammu

Walmart India adds a tenth addition to its B2B eCommerce platform in Jammu. The city is now open for all Best Price Modern Wholesale store members in nine plus cities, who can now conveniently shop online.

Walmart is on an expansion mode and is extending its online wholesale platform in Indian cities in a big way. It has launched the eCommerce facility for its trading partners in the city of Jammu. The Best Price Modern Wholesale store members in Jammu and in nine other cities in which it is present, do not need to trek to the offline stores to do shopping.
Walmart launched its first B2B eCommerce platform on July 1, 2014, and this is the tenth city tapped by the retailer.
The US retail giant operates 20 wholesale stores under the brand 'Best Price' in India. Its web platform,, is for registered members of Best Price Modern Wholesale stores. Currently, this is the world’s largest retailer operating through this platform in cities like Lucknow, Hyderabad, Guntur, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Bathinda and Zirakpur.
Krish Iyer, President and CEO, Walmart India, said, "It is with great pleasure that we announce the launch of our B2B e-commerce channel in Jammu, marking the 10th B2B online store."
This initiative is aimed at enhancing our members' shopping experience by integrating physical and digital store presence, added Iyer.
Soon after this, Walmart is planning a B2B eCommerce platform in Amritsar later this month.
The online B2B channel helps Walmart to serve members in a better manner helping them to save money, giving them convenience and doorstep delivery within 24 hours along with several payment solutions, said Iyer.
