Smartphone major Xiaomi is all set to offer its availability to other e-commerce sites such as Snapdeal and Amazon. Earlier Xiaomi smartphones were exclusively available on Flipkart till date. This announcement was done earlier this week when the company was celebrating its fifth birthday.

Not giving any specific reason for the same, it seems like Xiaomi is trying to strengthen its roots in the Indian market. Over the last month, they have been busy forging various offline partners as well including the availability of Redmi Note 4G at some selected Airtel stores. Recently they also partnered with The Mobile Store, of the largest mobile retail chains in India. Apart from this they have also started selling Mi smartphone accessories on their own site as well.

Sharing views with media, Manu Jain, Head of Operation, Mi India, said, the intention is to enable more options to purchase Mi products. Working with variety of partner and these partnerships be super successful is what we expect.

Under the banner #ManFest on 8th April, the company has also announced that its Mi4 smartphone will be available on a special one-day discount of Rs. 2000, meaning the 16GB variant will sell for Rs. 17,999 and the 64GB variant at Rs. 21,999.

And this is not it. Xioami have some more offers for the consumers. Apart from Mi4, the company is offering free Mi PowerBank and Mi In-Ear Headphones for free with the purchase of Redmi 2 4G. Mi4, Redmi 2 (3G & 4G) and the MiPad will be available on all the above mentioned platforms with any prior registration.

According to estimates, Xioami has sold over 1 million smartphones since June last year and the move from Flipkart to various other platforms is a hint that they are aiming at more bigger numbers for this year.
