Myntra, fashion arm of India's leading online marketplace Flipkart, has roped in Dipanjan Basu as its new Chief Finance Officer. Before joining Myntra, Basu was working for Wipro as its chief finance and operating officer for Wipro's Digital & Consulting Business.
In Myntra, Basu will be looking after the finance of the company and with his expert knowledge; company is expecting to channelise its power in the right direction. His role at Myntra will be to streamline and further enhance important processes. Basu's expertise lies in financial management and operations control, building and setting up new businesses, M&A and investments in start-ups.
Speaking on the appointment, Ananth Narayanan, CEO, Myntra said that apart from being an exceptionally talented individual, Dipanjan is also a perfect leader. His skills and expertise in finance and operations will be of immense value to Myntra, especially at this juncture as the company is scaling its business to meet ambitious targets. Company would like to welcome him on board on behalf of the Myntra family.
