AllSuperMart, a hyperlocal marketplace for utilities and grocery shopping that also facilitates sale of goods and services from local vendors, announces its latest target of INR 10 crore revenue generation by the next financial year, 2016-17. The unique venture hopes to augment its growth by scaling various such as maximizing business reach across India.
Currently, AllSuperMart has over 20,000 products on display, ranging from groceries, electronics, farm-fresh goods, meat & dairy, kitchen ware, hygiene &health care products, etc. It plans to increase the number of listed goods by up to one Lakh products.
Commenting on the announcement, Amit Singh, Founder & CEO, AllSuperMart said, “At AllSuperMart, our customers are our primary focus and we strive to facilitate them with a smooth and easy-to-use platform for all kinds of utilities shopping. Therefore, we plan to further scale our business by adding to our product catalogue and expanding across geographies and thereby attain the new set target of Rs 10 crore by the next financial year. Furthermore, with such developments we also intend in making our services available to a wider audience, and simultaneously enable greater customer satisfaction.”
AllSuperMart is currently operational in West Pune and its services are available across 40 pin codes in that region. It plans to gradually expand its operations in metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai in the second phase, followed by Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, and Chandigarh in the third phase.
The company works on a commission-based business model and takes an inventory-less approach to save costs. It charges a certain percentage of commission on the total billing to merchants. Additionally, it also lets these merchants decide the best price/ deal on the goods being sold and ensures fair pricing of products available on its platform. Furthermore, the enterprise has partnered with Roadrunnr and Grab to improve its logistics and facilitate quicker delivery services.
