Beverage maker, Manpasand Beverages (MBPL) has welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's suggestion to soft drink makers to try and mix aerated drinks with 5 per cent fruit juice to help distressed farmers find a new market for their produce, says a PTI report.
"Prime Minister Modi has asked major soft drink players to add at least five per cent of fruit juice in their products...the MBPL has already embraced the mantra by making its premium products completely fruit juice-based," MBPL's Managing Director, Dhirendra Singh said.
Singh yesterday launched the company's new mango-based 'Fruits Up' drink in markets of Surat, Godhra and other parts of Gujarat.
He said their product was an answer to the debate of having a healthy drink in the market.
"The company has already put 'Fruits Up' on the shelves for customers," he said.
MBPL makes fruit juices like Mango Sip and Apple Sip.
