Bonita eyes at 100 crore turnover by FY18

Bonita India, one of country’s home utility product makers has claimed a turnover of 100 crore by the end of 2017-18 fiscal as it has planned to expand its operations in the country and abroad.

Bonita India, one of country’s home utility product makers has claimed a turnover of 100 crore by the end of 2017-18 fiscal as it has planned to expand its operations in the country and abroad.
In the line of its plans to enter into new markets and add more products to its portfolio, the company is looking to raise 30 crore fund through series A funding.
Commenting on the same, Umang Srivastava, Joint Managing Director, Bonita, said "We are looking at clocking Rs 100 crore sales by fiscal year 2017-18. We are expanding ... adding more products categories, adding more products within existing categories and also enter more markets overseas. We are in talks to raise Rs 30 crore,"
“At present 90 per cent of its total sales come from domestic market and 10 per cent from overseas markets,” he added.
The company expects its overseas business to contribute upto 35 percent of its overall sales.
At present, Bonita sells a range of 80 products in 20 countries, including the US, Europe, Australia and the UAE. It plans to increase the number of products to 200.
