Noida and Singapore-based hotel booking engine, Commeasure has raised funds close to $1 million led by venture capital firm, Jungle Venture. Jungle Venture’s parent company, ZipDial, was recently acquired by Twitter. This round of funding also included a public market fund, but details on the latter has not been unveiled yet.
The funds raised by Commeasure will be utilised to expand its outreach in South East Asia and strengthen its technology front.
With searching engine services, training and online distribution in hospitality segment, Commeasurable, was launched in 2014 by Amit Saberwal and Asheesh Saxena. It got seed funding of $370,000. The company excels in providing end-to-end solutions including distribution across online channel, pricing in the target market, and book of rooms in independent hotel chains.
Commeasurable has tie-ups with around 500 small and mid-sized hotel chains in India and South East Asia such as Clarks Group of Hotels, Classic Group, Sarovar Hotels etc. Both the owners of the company were also responsible for building and developing online travel agency, MakeMyTrip’s hotel business.
