Hyperlocal marketplace FindYahan secures funding from Times Group's Brand Capital

FindYahan, newly launched online hyperlocal lifestyle services marketplace has recently nabbed an undisclosed amount of funding from the Times Group's Brand Capital.

FindYahan, newly launched online hyperlocal lifestyle services marketplace has recently nabbed an undisclosed amount of funding from the Times Group’s Brand Capital. The Delhi-based start-up will use the raised funds primarily for marketing.
Founded by Rachit Mathur and Snehil Khanor, FindYahan is location based discovery platform that connects skilled individuals and home businesses to their target customers. On the platform, service providers can list their offered services and skills and customers can request services including domestic help, car care, educational and tutoring, laundry, home maintenance and food, among others. Customers can choose from the list of service providers and hire the best.
Previously, it had raised an undisclosed amount from a group of angels including Karan Bajwa (MD, Microsoft India), Parvesh Bareja (Director, Helios Packs), Sunjay Kapur (MD, Sona Koyo Steering), and Amanpreet Bajaj (Ex Cofounder, Letsbuy.com). Later, it had closed an investment from The Phoenix Fund in April, this year.
The company claims to have 4 Lakh users, 10K+ service providers and have witnessed over 2 lakh app installs. Currently, it is operational in 7 cities and is planning to expand in 5 more cities by the year end.
FindYahaan competes with the likes of HouseJoy, Zimmber, taskbob, Mr. Right, Urbanpro and Urbanclap, among others.
