Leading cab service company Ola cabs headed by ANI Technologies has recently raised $315 million funds in as Series E round of funding led by Russian Venture Capitalist Yuri Milner’s DST Global.
Further, this funding round was closed last week and as per company’s filling with Registrar of Companies.Besides, the firm has issued Series G of Preference Shares to DST Global, Steadview Capital, Accel Partners and few others.
After nabbing $210 million from Softbank 4 months ago, the firm has managed to raise $315 (Rs. 1952 crores). DST global umbrella fund have lead the round with an investment of close to $206 million. The existing investors Tiger Global has invested $40.65, Steadview Capital invested around $10.5 million and Accel Investors around $5 millon. Other investors of Ola include ABG Capital, Mauritius Investment Ltd. and Rahul Mehta.
In addition, the company has raised close to $126 million in compulsorily convertible preferences shares from Helion, Accel, Tiger Global and others along with the acquisition of of TaxiforSure in March, 2015.
