New Delhi: Titan is aiming at gaining a five per cent share in India's perfume market in next five years. Titan had launched a range of French fragrances in India under brand SKINN in 2013.

'We saw huge opportunity. At one end, there are a number of deodorants and at the other, the market is flooded with expensive international brands. SKINN is an Indian brand in this space,' says Kalpana Rangamani, Head- Fragrances, Titan.

SKINN is available in six variants. The 50 ml and 100 ml bottles of the fragrance are priced at Rs 990 and Rs 1,790 respectively.

'We are targetting five per cent penetration in India in the next five years,' Rangamani added.

Perfumes are manufactured in France and being sold in India at affordable prices.

'SKINN range of perfumes seeks to delight our somewhat forgotten sense of smell. The perfumes launched in Kerala seek to transform the way in which consumers view, use and enjoy perfumes,' she said.
