As per JLL data,  the Indian journey of retail real estate had started with 2 malls in 1999 and now the country has 720 (approx.) malls. Following mentioned is the fact sheet of few top malls located across the country. 

Lulu Mall, kochi

Lulu Mall, a division of much famed Lulu Group headquartered in Abu Dhabi, UAE , is one of the largest as well as the first of its kind in India . The group with its flagship retail chain of Lulu Hypermarket and supermarkets has operations spread over 24 countries. Lulu Group has been ranked third in the prestigious “Forbes Top 100 companies” making an impact in the Arab world. Lulu Hypermarket has also been ranked by the Deloitte as one of the ten fastest growing retailers in the world. Strategically located in Edapally, Kochi , at the intersection of three important highways of Kerala : NH 47 , NH 17 and the Kochi by -pass , Lulu Mall is within easy reach of almost all landmarks and prominent facilities. Currently completing 4 years of operations, Lulu Mall is spread across four Storey’s occupying more than 2.5 million sq.ft  of built-up space in 17 acres with 197 operational stores. Viviana Mall is a part of Sheth Corp and is well known as a ‘Destination Mall’. Viviana covers over 250 leading brands in its prime retail and leisure space. The mall is India’s first and only visually impaired friendly mall and has also launched “XRCVC-Viviana Extension” a trainingcentre for visually impaired.
