NEW DELHI: Berger Paints today reported 17.02 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 57.46 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2014-15.
It had posted consolidated net profit of Rs 49.1 crore during the April-June quarter of last fiscal, 2013-14, Berger Paints said in a filing to the BSE.
The company's net sales during Q1, 2014-15 stood at Rs 1,056.16 crore, an increase of 16.78 per cent as compared to Rs 904.39 crore in the year-ago period.
Overall expenses in Q1 stood at Rs 967.05 crore, up 16.05 per cent as compared to Rs 833.24 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The company's scrip was trading at Rs 297.70, down 0.96 per cent, on the BSE.
