With increased demand in more urbane, upgraded products and personalised feel, most brands have now gone ahead with launch of experience centres. The brands aim at offering its patrons a more convenient way to physically experience and see their products. This will also help the brands to establish a direct connection with the consumers. Let’s know more on this new inclination called ‘experience centres’.

These are the times of know-how and buy. A customer wants to feel the real product before investing his hard earned money in it. So, the brands are gearing up to offer the best to its buyers. Apart from the traditional franchise stores, brands are also focussing on launching their experience centres with better technology and techniques. Leading furniture and home decor brand, Urban Ladder also launched its first flagship experience centre in Bangalore few months ago and got an overwhelming response from customers. The brand is set to its retail presence across Bangalore and other cities to become the largest furniture brand in India by March 2018.

Experience with digital integration
Leading player in the Indian sanitary ware and faucet industry HSIL also launched its digitally integrated Lacasa store in Mumbai in July this year to offer  one stop place for architects, interior designers, business buyers as well as homeowners a real time experience of the offerings by all the brands under HSIL –Queo, Alchymi, Hindware and Amore. The 4000 sq. ft. showroom has digital Integration at every point for easy selection of products where consumers are provided a smart device to capture their favourite products and then drop all of them into a smart screen for consultancy and building a bathroom of choice. The specially designed stores take consumers on an exhilarating journey with multiple alluring bathroom suites displaying beautiful combinations of the products. The company plans to invest aggressively in setting up 10 new Lacasa and 200+ Galleria stores across the country by 2020.

Educating via experience centres
The largest RO purifier brand, Kent RO Systems Ltd had launched its first experience centre in DLF Mall of India Noida and now the company has come up with yet another Experience centre in Lajpat Nagar. Being christened as Kent Experience Centre, the centre will not retail any product but act like a brand showcase and consumer experience place. The company claims that the centre is its first ever foray in India. The Experience Centre hosts Kent RO’s complete product line, right from Water Purifiers, Air Purifiers, Vaccum Cleaners, Oxygen Enhancers to Kent's new Smart ​Chef range of innovative kitchen appliances. Dr Mahesh Gupta, Chairman, Kent RO Systems Limited said: ‘We are planning to open 10 new Brand Experience Centres by the end of this year in Delhi NCR. These experience centres will communicate KENT RO’s product feel, features and values through live demonstrations. Further, the company is planning to launch multiple centres across India and overseas markets. Today’s customers want experiences, not just things. Consumers today are broadly catching on to the notion that experiences make you happier and are as valuable ‐‐ or more ‐‐ than buying fancy things, hence, this is a great way to establish dialogues with these new-age modern customers. The experience centre will also educate the consumers about water contamination and how the Kent Experience Zone will help them in leading a comparative healthy life.’
