Flipkart confirms the exit of its CFO

Krishnamurthy is now leading Flipkart's turnaround as it fights to keep the numero uno status in India's e-tail war.

Flipkart, one of India's largest e-commerce marketplaces, has confirmed to Economic Times about the exit of its Chief Financial Officer, Sanjay Baweja.

Sanjay served the company from November 2015, and before that he was working with Tata Communications as the Global CFO. He has also worked with Bharti Airtel, Xerox ModiCorp and has gathered a work experience of three decades.

Before him, Punit Soni, Ex-chief Product officer, Flipkart too made his exit in April 2016 and Mukesh Bansal, Ex-commerce Head and Ankit, nagori, Ex-chief business officer also left the company in February 2016.

It is said that now that Flipkart is engaged in a high stakes leadership battle with Amazon India, has witnessed a series of top management exits over the last year or two.

As per reports published in ET, Krishnamurthy is now leading Flipkart's turnaround as it fights to keep the numero uno status in India's e-tail war.
