HP Inc., an American technology company, is all set to push its new range of smart watches this month, as part of a tie-up with the watch licensing partner of several designer brands, including Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss, and Coach, as reported by AFP.
HP Inc. has lend its brand technology to Movado Group Inc., which owns watch licensing agreement with renowned brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss, Coach, Juicy Couture and Scuderia Ferrari as “Engineered by HP”.
The reports also reveal that the new watches will carry HP hardware and software of the signature design elements of the respective brands. The watches will range from 195 USD to 325 USD and will be sold in the US, Canada, the UK, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands.
The product will be available from October 27 for purchase via a selected number of retailers such as Macy's locations (with the exception of Juicy Couture), Amazon, Dillard’s and some licensed boutiques, as well as on the brand’s websites.
Bill Geiser, general manager of wearables and smart platforms at HP Inc. observed that customers want smart accessories to make their day to day task easy and to be able to connect easily without compromising with anything. He also added that Engineered by HP will enable them to be a top brand as HP would not compromise with its brand value in terms of technology and digital essentials. He expressed his happiness to be associated with HP, which is supporting the digital essentials and that is what that will make the smartwatch experience different in all sphere.
