Since the festival of lights Diwali is round the corner, each and every brand is scouting a new plan and strategy to entice customers. HTC has also chalked a new strategy to surge its sales during Diwali and it has partnered with Amazon for the move. As per its recent plan, company will be unleashing its three 4G smartphones during Diwali on its e-store at Amazon.
The company has opted for aforementioned move to augment its presence in the Indian market which is among the top four business domains for the company. However, the Taiwanese brand also admitted that it has failed to capatalise on the 4G segment in India and this, has forced the company's radar to fall drastically. But now, it has equipped its arsenal with the 4G devices which will going to be its spearhead products during the Diwali sale.
While addressing the queries of one of the media houses, Faisal Siddiqui, President-South Asia, HTC said that company is building our own e-store with Amazon alongside a digital campaign targeting the online users, and it will launch three new smartphones on the platform starting this week.
HTC has its own portal where it sells devices, and has another e-store within Snapdeal. However, it will give discounts and festive offers on its own e-store on the latest flagship HTC Desire 10, starting first week of October.
Next year, HTC will have 12-15 models, mostly 4G, in the Rs 10,000-25,000 price band, which is the fastest growing segment in the industry, added Siddiqui.
