LimeRoad introduces festive campaign with a social message

"Facebook is pleased to support LimeRoad on their mission to collect 1 Crore Sarees."

LimeRoad, one of the country's largest e-commerce marketplaces, has recently launched its festive campaign, 'Mission: One Crore: Pledge a saree. Pledge a smile.'

The intention as described by the company, behind the campaign is to share one crore sarees to the under-privileged women of the country.

It is partnering with Facebook and Goonj, to take the initiative forward.

Suchi Mukherjee, Founder and CEO, LimeRoad, said that Pledge a smile, is company’s way of driving responsible consumerism. While the business continues to grow at a healthy month-on-month clip, this festive season it is urging the country to think and pledge for others much less fortunate.

She further shared her deligh for both Umang Bedi, MD, Facebook India and South Asia, as well as Anshu Gupta, founder of Goonj for joining in driving the initiative.

She said, "Our one urge is – go pledge a saree, pledge a smile, today."
