Paytm appoints Deepak Abbot as Senior Vice president

Paytm has been strengthening its product and tech teams by hiring top talent in leadership positions such as former Reserve Bank of India executive Shinjini Kumar as the chief executive of its payment bank.

Paytm has made an announcement of appointing Deepak Abbot as its Senior Vice President of its Growth Marketing team.
Deepak, who was earlier working with Times Internet as the head of mobile growth has over 17 years of experience in growth hacking, mobile marketing and data analytics attached to his profile.
He has also served Reliance Entertainment Digital as the Chief Product Officer, Zapak as General Product Manager, Satyam Computers as UX Consultant and CyberMedia as Product executive for years gathering expertise in his work of interest.
As reported by ANI, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Founder and CEO of Paytm said, "I am very happy to see Deepak back in Paytm.
We are in the next phase of our growth, and his skills and expertise will be instrumental to our efforts of reaching half a billion users by 2020."
He also added, "It feels great to be a part of Paytm again. This is one of the most exciting phases in the organization's growth curve," said Deepak about his appointment. "Paytm has aggressive plans to expand its business and I am looking forward to contributing towards the same with my growth marketing efforts."
