Xiaomi, Chinese smartphone giant, which created a strong ripple-effect in India with its affordability is said to have penetrated its focus in the country. And for this it has chosen to partner with Storeking, a rural-focused retail platform.
It is said that through the partnership it aims to reach out to the rural consumers, who cannot avail the online festive sale offers.
Though Xiaomi's Redmi 3S+ is the most demanding product of ongoing festive sale events.
Storeking has around 25,000 stores spread across 100 districts in the rural parts of India.
Vipin Raina, Head of Offline Sales, Xiaomi India made a statement that it has made a significant move in the offline distribution plans in 2016. It is taking gradual steps and he believes that its association with Storeking will make them achieve way more than what they have achieved so far.
Sridhar Gundaiah, Founder and CEO, Storeking believes that with Mi India, it will reach out to the rural costumers regardless of their location and aims to serve them better products.
