Bombay Shirt Company and esteemed menswear designer Arjun Khanna have announced a distinctive creative collaboration. The two prominent home-grown brands will release a series of limited-edition collections over the coming year, each designed to tell a story rich in history, ruggedness, timeless silhouettes, and iconic fabrics.

The first collection, launched on 6 July, centers on the fabric suitable for all seasons and occasions: denim. This exclusive BSC X AK collection is a tribute to meticulous craftsmanship and intricate design details, transforming each shirt into a wearable piece of art. From specific silai (stitch) detailing to thoughtfully placed metal hardware and distinctive washes, every feature is designed with purpose, celebrating denim’s rich heritage and timeless style.

This limited-edition collection features 12 ready-to-wear shirts: 10 crafted in varying shades of denim and 2 in a unique fabric, adding an element of surprise. Each design seamlessly blends vintage aesthetics with modern versatility for the discerning man.

The design team drew inspiration from a diverse array of stories, including classic vintage military uniforms, safari-appropriate fabrics, and silhouettes, the rugged masculinity of workwear immortalized in timeless Western films, the elegance of Japanese retro chic, and the vibrancy of Bombay. All these iconic looks are woven together by the common thread of denim, with each piece in this collection telling its own unique story and leaving a lasting impression.

The Limited Edition collection will be available for purchase starting 6 July 2024 exclusively at Bombay Shirt Company stores across the country and online.
