JK Tyre Announces Strategic Partnership with EKA Mobility

Indian tire industry leader JK Tyre & Industries has announced a strategic partnership with EKA Mobility, a prominent player in the electric mobility sector, boasting equity partners such as Mitsui Co., Ltd. (Japan) & VDL Groep (Netherlands).

This collaboration solidifies JK Tyre's standing as a frontrunner in delivering "Connected Mobility Solutions," featuring a pioneering cloud-based monitoring system. Through their mobility solutions program, the company offers extensive tire management services. The formal agreement was signed in Pune, witnessed by Mr. Sanjeev Sharma, AVP of Fleet Management & Mobility Solutions at JK Tyre, and Mr. Vijaykumar Yelne, President of EKA Mobility.

Under the agreement, JK Tyre will supply its latest generation of EV tires equipped with Connected Treel Sensors for real-time monitoring to EKA's fleet. Additionally, JK Tyre has deployed a dedicated team of seasoned professionals to provide 24/7 support at depots and en route assistance. Commencing with the existing fleet in Mumbai, the company will extend comprehensive support to EKA's fleet across all cities.
