MakeMyTrip, India’s leading online travel platform, has launched a new campaign addressing common travel challenges through humor. The three-film series spotlights MakeMyTrip’s wide-ranging accommodation options, including International Hotels, Homestays & Villas, and Domestic Hotels. Featuring Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, the campaign uses relatable travel scenarios to highlight MakeMyTrip’s solutions, simplifying the search for ideal stays both within India and abroad.

The first film showcases Alia and Ranveer in a foreign hotel, humorously navigating the challenge of finding familiar Indian food. This scenario introduces MakeMyTrip’s “Loved by Indians” filter, which helps travelers discover hotels that cater to their specific cultural and culinary preferences for a more familiar experience abroad.

In the second film, the duo comically repurposes hotel amenities like shower caps and bath products as gifts after overspending on accommodations. This lighthearted take emphasizes MakeMyTrip’s commitment to affordability, offering deals like a 25 percent discount for new users on domestic hotels, ensuring budget-friendly and quality stays.

The final film focuses on MakeMyTrip’s variety of serviced villas. Alia’s expectations of a fully serviced villa are humorously contrasted with Ranveer’s surprise as her host, who assumes she’ll handle tasks herself. This highlights MakeMyTrip’s range of options, from budget-friendly to luxury villas, allowing travelers to find accommodations tailored to their needs.

The films were directed by Abhinav Pratiman of Early Man Films and scripted by Tanmay Bhat, Devaiah Bopanna, Puneet Chadha, and Deep Joshi from Moonshot creative agency.
