Montblanc and Zinédine Zidane Launch Exclusive Capsule Collection for Travelers

Montblanc and renowned Mark Maker Zinédine Zidane have unveiled a new capsule collection designed for discerning travelers. This exclusive line features travel essentials crafted from luxurious leather and innovative lightweight fabric, showcasing a blend of elegance and practicality.

The collection, developed in close collaboration between Zidane and Montblanc Artistic Director Marco Tomasetta, includes five meticulously designed pieces in classic black and a sophisticated green-hued pewter. 

“Collaborating on this collection with Montblanc and such a creative spirit and visionary as Marco was a great personal journey for me, full of joy and enthusiasm. It was fascinating to be part of every step of the process from creating the designs to production and even testing the products. This brand-new experience gave me real insight into Montblanc. It resulted in a collection that truly fits my travel style and hopefully that of many other frequent travelers. I hope people will enjoy it,” said Zinédine Zidane.

The collection’s design process involved extensive meetings and insights from Zidane, resulting in pieces that blend functionality with a contemporary aesthetic. A distinctive pentagon leather label, inspired by soccer ball panels, pays tribute to Zidane’s illustrious soccer career.

Zidane's role as a Montblanc Mark Maker extends beyond his achievements on the field. He also represents the Montblanc Legend Fragrance line, embodying values of leadership, philanthropy, and cultural impact.

The capsule collection includes a Duffle Bag featuring Montblanc’s Extreme 3.0 pattern and the Montblanc M LOCK 4810 buckle, known for its secure closure mechanism. A #MY4810 Cabin Trolley in black and pewter, equipped with a luggage strap featuring the Montblanc M LOCK 4810 buckle.A leather Passport Holder in pewter, and a Sling Bag designed for smaller personal items, worn cross-body.

“Zinédine had a clear vision of what he wanted this collection to deliver and was intimately involved in all aspects of its creation: together, we worked long hours and went through many rounds of designs and fittings to come up with a selection that is suited to his fast-paced and multi-faceted lifestyle where travel plays a central role. It was a lot of fun to share all these ideas on materials and design in our meetings. I had a very demanding and detail-oriented design partner! The collection reflects style attributes that are both personal and comfortable to him, while also spotlighting the signature design codes of Montblanc,” explained Marco Tomasetta, Montblanc Artistic Director.

The Montblanc x Zinédine Zidane Capsule Collection will be available starting September 2024 at Montblanc boutiques globally and online.
