Pakka Limited and Brawny Bear Launch Energy Bars with Compostable Packaging

Pakka Limited, renowned for its compostable packaging solutions, has announced a new collaboration with Brawny Bear, a company specializing in date-based nutritious food products. This partnership has led to the launch of Date Energy Bars, notable for being the first energy bars in India to feature compostable flexible packaging.

The Date Energy Bars, produced by Brawny Bear, come in Pakka Limited’s innovative compostable flexible packaging. This development not only offers a healthy snacking choice but also tackles the growing issue of packaging waste in India.

Pakka Limited’s foray into compostable flexible packaging is a natural progression, given its four decades of expertise in compostable pulp, paper packaging, and molded tableware. This new packaging form reflects the company’s adaptation to modern consumer needs for convenience, versatility, and sustainability.

These energy bars, made from high-quality dates and free from added sugars, fit perfectly with Brawny Bear’s focus on nutritious, naturally sweetened products. This launch expands Brawny Bear’s range, which includes date-based chocolates, chikki, nut butter, milkshake/energy powders, and natural sweeteners.

This launch follows the successful debut of the world’s first compostable flexible packaging for food products in October 2023, marking the companies’ initial collaboration and setting a new standard in eco-friendly packaging.
