Dermatology, Hair Restoration and Aesthetic Clinics
Dr SKS Skin Hair Body is a dermatologist-led clinic chain founded by Dr. Stuti Khare Shukla in Mumbai in 2019. The brand focuses on non-surgical hair growth treatments and clinical aesthetics, with an emphasis on professional assessment and structured treatment protocols.
Its signature offering includes the Hair Growth Booster protocol. According to the brand presentation, SKS has delivered more than 70,000 non-surgical hair growth treatments and operates five clinics across Mumbai, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Jabalpur and Balaghat.
The brand is planning to expand through a Franchise Owned Franchise Operated (FOFO) model, targeting additional Indian cities and selected GCC markets. Its proposed expansion strategy includes major metropolitan areas, Tier 2 cities and international locations such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia.
The brand presentation outlines two investment options for Indian franchise partners. The Tier 1 city format requires an initial investment of ₹17 lakh, while the Tier 2 city format requires ₹15 lakh. Both formats have a stated clinic area of 700–1,500 sq. ft., a franchise fee of ₹3 lakh and initial inventory of ₹8 lakh.
The presentation separately lists monthly working capital of ₹5.5 lakh for both formats. It projects monthly revenue of ₹14–15 lakh for Tier 1 clinics and ₹8–10 lakh for Tier 2 clinics. The projected gross margins are 55% and 45%, respectively, with estimated payback periods of 12 months and 16 months.
These figures are estimates presented by the brand and are not guaranteed financial outcomes. The total funding requirement, operating costs and financial assumptions should be confirmed before publication.
According to the presentation, Dr SKS plans to support franchise partners through doctor hiring and training, clinical training and certification, central marketing, product supply, brand guidelines and technology systems. The brand also describes support for software deployment and clinic setup.
Franchise partners are responsible for the investment, clinic ownership, premises and rent, non-clinical staffing and payroll, local marketing and operating expenses. Under the proposed model, revenue and net profit or loss remain with the franchise partner.
The stated agreement period is five years, with a three-year lock-in. Renewal is subject to mutual agreement.
Dr SKS has outlined a phased expansion strategy. The first phase focuses on strengthening its existing markets, followed by expansion into Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Pune, Ahmedabad and Chennai. Further growth is planned for Indore, Bhopal, Raipur and Lucknow.
For international expansion, the presentation identifies Dubai and Abu Dhabi as initial markets, followed by Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries. The brand's stated target is to establish more than 40 SKS centres across India within four years.
