With this addition, the company will have a total of 17 properties in Uttar Pradesh, including operational hotels and upcoming projects such as Welcomhotel Prayagraj, WelcomHeritage Badi Kothi, and Fortune Select Ayodhya.

The opening also takes Marriott’s portfolio to 220 hotels in India and 235 properties across South Asia.

The company has signed two projects in the past six months, aligning with the premiumisation trend in India’s real estate market.

With this addition, the company’s portfolio in the state now stands at 37 operational and upcoming properties.

The venture marks his move into entrepreneurship after more than 15 years of experience across established hotel groups in India.

The development includes landscaped areas spread across 1.86 acres, with residences overlooking green spaces and shared amenities.

Wyndham currently operates more than 95 hotels across India and continues to expand through its franchise-led model.

The project reflects the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence in tier II and tier III cities where demand for organised hospitality infrastructure is increasing.

The development is expected to be Dibrugarh’s first internationally branded hotel and will also be NILE Hospitality’s first Marriott-branded project in the region.

The agreements have been signed with Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited for Grand Hyatt Chennai ECR and with BCV Developers Private Limited for Hyatt House Bengaluru Devanahalli.
