Tell us about your brand's journey till today and about any milestone you have achieved so far?

Jain Amar started promoting the brand Madame in the early 90s with a fore-sight to dress the then teenagers with hi-quality western fashion. The first exclusive store was launched in 2002 from Mumbai and the company has forayed into international markets as well with the exclusive stores.

How many stores you run currently and how many you are going to start in near future?

108 as on today and we aim one store a month.

What kind of consumption pattern you observe in your region? Which products are popular amongst consumers?

The consumption patterns are quite optimum and being in the fashion trade. All region/zones embrace fashion in equally exciting terms.

What are your preferred real estate choices when it comes to running retail business in South India/East India? Do malls earn greater revenue per square feet or it is the high street outlets that give you good return?

Both go hand as a part of strategy.

Kindly share your personal views on any particular High street or Mall that gives better per square feet revenue earned in any of the mentioned format recently?

What kind of growth opportunity you see in your area of operation? How has been the response so far to your brand?

Response has been quite healthy and every encouraging. The brand is now expanding into new territories and consolidating in the existing ones.

We are still on a journey

What are your future plans in terms of expansion and expanding product portfolio?

We are a style-ahead company and the brand matches to this mandate.
