Apart from these Indian designers, also on board is eminent Turkish designer Ebru Danyal. In an exclusive interview with Chandni Agarwal the brand custodian sheds light on growth strategy of the brand.

You have collaborated with so many renowned designers such as Rina Dhaka, Masaba Gupta, Ridima Bhasin and so on, who are well reckoned name in the fashion Industry. What was the rationale coming up with such concept? Also, how challenging was the task to convince all leading names to share same platform?

There was absolute void in the market when it comes to designer wear for kids. I realized the fact when I had become a parent myself. As a new parent you want to give the best to your child. When my daughter was few months old I was scouting a designer wear outfit for her which I ended up buying from US market because there was absolutely no option available in Indian market.  And, when your child is few months old you can spend much time hopping one shop to other.  Initially, I had discussed such venture to my near ones after receiving positive response I dare to start this venture. I would say my daughter was inspiration behind launching this business.

I had to go all these designers one by one. Though they were very supportive to idea; however, few of them were concerned over independency.

So how many designers you have right now on board with you?

As of now, we have 25 designers working with us. However, we would be introducing new designers such as Vidhi Mehra, Ashish Soni very soon.

How you are looking to promote this brand because with this brand has the association of renowned names?

It is indeed a very challenging task. As of now we are just 20 days old. Presently, our focus is social media but we will tweak our strategies as and when it will require. We are also mulling over roping a brand ambassador for our label.

It is the popular notion among masses that designer wear tends to be very expensive and not everybody can afford them. What is your pricing strategy? Are you only targeting deep pocket parents?

I want to break the myth. I know designer wear is very expensive but there are many designers who they want to cater the aspirations of the customers.  Our starting price point starts from rs 400 and goes up to rs 25,000.

What is your current consumer base?

As of now I am catering to 100 plus customers considering we have just started. We are getting customers from social media only.

How many categories the brand has introduced as of now?

We are offering complete wardrobe solution for baby girl and baby boy starting from accessories to dresses to jewellery to footwear; we have all sorts of options.

What kind of distribution you have right now including online and offline channel?

We are operational pan India via our exclusive webstore. And, we are very bullish to open our exclusive store as well very shortly.

So, what are the growth plans? How you wish to extend the brand from here?

I am looking to rope in more and more renowned designers from India as well as International. Also, I am looking to increase the customer base as much as I can.

Any plans to raise funds?

I have not given it a serious thought till now. However, we would be open to suitable opportunity.
