The Italian luxury brand Versace, which has been brought in India by Blues Clothing Company, has two stores - one at J W Marriot in Mumbai and another at DLF Emporio in Delhi. Both the retail points are highly thronged with the high-end luxurious brands and Versace’s presence in these locations is an added advantage for the high net worth individuals. Versace store is designed to ensure that it lures men and women with visual treat along with superlative merchandise. The dimension of the Vasace boutique is around 4,000 sq ft.

Store layout

The design of the Versace boutique exudes an aura of international fashion blended in each of the merchandise. The impressive display windows at both sides of the entrance garbed with very stylish collections sets the mind on the right note intended for the audience. 

The flooring is completely finished with black vitrified tiles and some areas are covered with black velvet. White powerful fluorescent light directly falls on the shining tiles, superbly illuminating the entire store. On the other hand, some selective portions of the whitewashed walls are swathed with white leather. Merchandise (wallet, traveller bags, accessories, women’s steel toe boots and men’s belts, shades, etc.) showcased on raised stands seem to warmly greet the customers. A digital signage showing the ramp walk of the models wearing Versace fashionwears is inscribed on the wall, which always catch the attention of the customers who enter the store.

Store products and marketing

The creative assortment of Versace is laced with the grace of fashion and the embellished depth of art blended together. Versace, with its utmost fashion orientation captures the enchanting image of playful, confident metro-sexual men and mystifying elfin women who the brand actually targets. The store stocks the merchandise with unusual cut, which seems to be unfamiliar at the first glance. The brand has its own line of women and men accessories, which include belts, clutches, wallets, jewellery, sunglasses and colognes as well as spacious and light handbags. It also offers the luxury connoisseurs the premium Italian fabrics from the globally renowned brands like Ermenegildo Zegna, Loro Piana, Lanificio Cerruti and Vitale Barberis. Additionally, the customers get the customised tailoring facilities at Versace. It has also introduced an innovative concept of Bench & Bar to offer special clothing to the legal professionals. The price range of the Versace products starts from Rs 10,000(for wrist bands) and ends at Rs 13 lakh (for apparels). In a separate room of about 200 sq ft, the Versace home furnishings, which include furniture, crockery, linens and tableware, are showcased.

Adequate aisles for hassle-free movement of the visitors and the leather-enfolded sofas and chairs near the small counters showcased with the diverse merchandise add a splendid charisma to this Italian store. Two trial rooms are having excellent lighting inside with large mirrors, including sofas for sitting and testing the accessories. The store has overall eight staffs, who are very enthusiastic in promoting the products and assist the customers in the best possible manner. The Point Of Sale (POS) is decorated with a few Versace colognes and its background is covered with black leather.
