Retailer 10 : Arvind - Premium brands, value retail - all together

Arvind Brands’ value retail format Megamart combines a premium ambience with amazingly low price. Carrying out its expansion spree, the brand has already penetrated in tier II and III cities and has opened over 120 stores in the last two years in various formats suitable for the different locations and demography. Arvind Brands claims to have introduced denim in India and owns the retail format, Megamart. The company also manufactures and markets branded apparel, Flying Machine. The company is the licensing partner for US Polo Association, the apparel line from Arrow, and also markets the international brand Grant.

Growth & Expansion

The company is growing at 33 to 40 per cent and will be adding 2 lakh sq ft every year for Megamart and around 40000 sq ft for brand stores.
