How does it work?

Case 1: Arvind Brands, a leading multi-brand apparel retailer, wanted to increase in-store mindshare with purpose-driven short-term and long-term campaigns. It opted for 3M - IJ 180C film on split air-conditioner units - the 3M graphic film with the unique Controltac & Comply technologies makes application easy with its repositionability and air release channels. The robust substrate, superior print technology helped blend the AC units into the overall retail ambience connecting directly to the gen-next and increasing mindshare.

 

Case 2: Mega Mart, a large format retail outlet owned by Arvind Brands, wanted a textured surface within the retail outlet. 3M IJ 8624 textured graphic film is designed to ‘caress’ virtually every bump and dip on varied surfaces without compromising on the branding. This film lets explore new spaces and reach better.

 

Case 3: Mega Mart wanted to create a premium wood finish look in a short span of time without using wood in its suit display area. 3M Di-Noc fine-wood, the wonder surface modification film, looks and feels like wood. This gave customers a complete store make-over within a few hours without creating a mess inside. Extremely flexible and available in more than 600 shades, this film can be used for showrooms, malls, theatres, walls or even vehicles. Di-Noc is flame retardant and qualifies for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) credits.

KA Appiah, general manager of 3M commercial graphic division comments, “Mega Mart project was an interesting project for us. The purpose of the project was to make maximum utilisation of space available in the store and also to create a ‘WOW’ effect and entice the customers for purchasing. The challenge here was that it wasn’t about redesigning the outlet, rather how to promote the bouquet of brands available in Mega Mart without diluting the theme of the store. We also had to keep in mind that each brand carries its own image and doesn’t trespass other brand spaces. The 3M solutions effectively used by Mega Mart includes premium signage (3M PII banner +3630-custom colour vinyl), in-store graphics (IJ1220 and floor graphics IJ162 +3645 over laminate), textured surface film (IJ8624 +8524 over laminate), Aircon Branding (IJ3552) and 3M Di-Noc architectural finishes. These solutions were quick, easily applicable and conformable to respective surfaces, mess free and gave more brand coverage.
