Surjit Rajpurohit has spent several years in the retail industry and it began with Ansal Plaza in 1999, and currently he is involved in mall planning, development and leasing consultancy at IDEAS Consultancy & Advisory. Rajpurohit had set up this company five years ago and has worked with seven out of the country’s top 20 malls, and he highlights that he had conceived and popularised the science of designing and planning of malls in the country. IDEAS Consultancy and Advisory is a full service real estate solutions provider with core specialisation in retail asset management. Apart from that, they are also involved in research and consultancy, capital markets, land acquisition, retail development advisory, leasing and management across South-Asia, and they currently have one million sq ft under management.

And, expanding this strategy a step further, IDEAS C&A is also repositioning Neptune Magnet Mall and Rajpurohit has taken the post of Chief Executive Officer for this mall.
