Home Centre, a part of the $ 4.7 billion Dubai-based retail conglomerate, Landmark Group, launched its second stand alone store in Chennai, taking the total number of stores to 15 in the country. The new store is spread over two floors, across a sprawling area of 42,500 sq. ft and promises to offer customers a truly exceptional home shopping experience.
With the launch of this store, Home Centre has also unveiled its new store format in India. With lively ambience, ease of navigation and engaging displays showcasing current trends and an innovative product range, the new store concept ensures every visit to Home Centre is a treat for the entire family. Each element ranging from the lighting, colour scheme, merchandise display to music is carefully selected to create a lively ambience to augment the sensory experience and imbue a relaxed mood amongst the shoppers.

The design strategy of the new store was developed by US design experts Callison, who are also reputed to have planned and designed the billion-dollar island city in Doha, Qatar – The Pearl, Porto Arabia. The refreshed design of Home Centre creates spaces within the store that evoke the same experiences and feelings which are reflected in the brand’s tagline, ‘Find your Home in Ours’. The new store format infuses a sense of warmth and comfort while creating merchandise zones which replicate the many facets of home living.
Reflecting the spirit of this festive season, Home Centre has unveiled a Special Festive collection comprising home accessories and furniture to further add a hint of tradition and festive glow to all celebrations. The festive collection has also been showcased in a first-of-its-kind Diwali Catalogue.
