Amazon Business launches on amazon.fr

E-commerce giant Amazon has announced the launch of new service Amazon Business on amazon.fr, to meet the procurement needs of small and large scale businesses. The new service has tailored features such as free premium shipping options, pay by invoice, VAT-exclusive price display and invoicing for products and multi-user business.

Amelie Veron, Head of Amazon Business on amazon.fr said, “With this launch, Amazon.fr is much more convenient for business users because we added features that make buying for work easy and convenient. New business-tailored features such as Pay by Invoice, multi-user business accounts with integrated approval workflows will enable business users to simply improve their entire purchasing processes”, said He added “Amazon Business brings the combination of wide selection, premium shipping and attractive prices that customers have come to know and love about Amazon.”

With the access to about 250 million products including laptops, printers, office supplies etc, Amazon Business provides has a strong customer base. For maintenance, repair and operations, it offers one million power tools, industrial and safety items. Automotive businesses can access more than eight million parts and accessories, including car maintenance items.

Amazon Business offers features that can enhance sales, like the VAT Calculation Service. The VAT Calculation Service helped Business Sellers on amazon.de and amazon.co.uk to increase their B2B sales on Amazon Business by more than 50 % on average within the first month of activation.

Fulfilment service for sellers is catered by Amazon to store their products in Amazon’s fulfilment centers.

Amazon Business is now live in the United States, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France.
