Amazon to come up with 7 specialised fulfilment centres in India

With Amazon.in recently announcing that it plans to double its storage capacity in the country, the company's fulfilment centre - the first in AP - will come up at Vizag. 

The fulfilment centre in the port city will have a storage capacity of 10000 cubic feet and will be set up at Gajuwaka.

Amazon.in said, "Besides the already announced 7 specialized ones for large appliances and furniture, there will be 7 other fulfilment centres set up in Telangana, Haryana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh to support its regular business.

All of these will be fully operational by the end of this quarter to support the remarkable high double digit growth the company continues to see."
