Amazon to set up fulfillment centre in India

The US based Amazon.com Inc is all set to launch in the Indian market its first "fulfillment centre". These centres will be giant warehouses that will help Amazon and other online retailers to store products, ship them and handle returns quickly.

In India, the fulfillment centre will be located in Mumbai, for which the company plans to hire IT and Stations Operations Managers along with a Financial Analyst. Amazon, at present, has software development centres in Bangalore , Chennai and Hyderabad and a customer-service center in Hyderabad.
