Amway India posts FY'13 results

Aims Rs 5000 crore by 2020.


The Indian arm of US based direct selling FMCG biggie, Amway India has posted a turnover of Rs 2,288 crore for the FY’13. With this the company registers a seven percent growth year on year with health and beauty categories leading the chart with 60 per cent contribution to the revenues.According to the company official, “The growth rate of the region is at par with the consumer products industry growth in India despite a slowdown in the sector.” One of the highest potential cities was Madhya Pradesh which alone clocked a turnover of Rs 67 crore in 2012 against Rs 61 crore in 2011.The company also registered a CAGR of over 20 per cent for the past five years and aims to achieve turnover of Rs 5,000 crore by year 2020.
