Italian brand Benetton eyes to launch around 50 more stores across India this year. The brand is further planning to launch nearly 150 new doors over the next three years.
India is the most important market outside Italy for the brand. It is considered as the number one subsidiary outside Italy. Benetton is looking to allocate over 50% spends on digital marketing in the country.
Benetton, based in Italy, has been growing at a high double-digit compound annual growth rate for the last eight years. Its objective is to maintain this statistic.
The brand will further be updating at least six stores with the technology it currently uses in its London store, which has no cash desk.
Currently, Benetton runs around 400 exclusive brand outlets in India and around 5000 globally.
