Blackberrys looks to expand operations in South & East India

Blackberrys, the premium menswear brand, is eyeing to expand its operations in the Southern and Eastern region of India in this fiscal. The company, owned by Mohan Clothing Company, will be expanding into smaller towns.

Blackberrys is expecting 20% growth on the back of retail expansion in these regions during the fiscal year 2019-20.

Presently, South Indian states, including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka, contribute around 24% to the company’s overall sales.

The menswear brand expects revenue of Rs 1,100 crore for the financial year ended March 2019. It had posted sales of Rs 900 crore for the fiscal year 2017-18. Blackberrys aims 20% growth this fiscal.

The company is operating over 260 exclusive brand outlets across the country. It has set a target revenue of Rs 1,500 crore by 2020.
