Centuryply unveils Mobile NESTA store

Makers of the well-known ‘Centuryply’ brand of plywood and decorative veneers, unveiled their first mobile NESTA Furniture Store in Kolkata. The mobile store was unveiled post the launch of the 7500 sq feet Nesta Furniture Store in Kolkata. The store with lush interiors and comforting ambience was launched by Sanjay Agarwal – Managing Director, Century Plyboards (I) Limited, along with actress Raima Sen in Kolkata. The furniture store on wheels had Raima Sen as the first visitor. Nesta Furniture aims to provide authentic and stylish furniture and home decor accessories at affordable prices to the Indian customer.
As Centuryply always aims at giving utmost satisfaction and unique experiences to its customers, the company unveiled its exclusive ‘Nesta mobile furniture store’ with a view to make furniture shopping at the convenience of the customer. The idea behind the mobile store is to take the store to its customers to showcase its products and increase consumer involvement.
With hectic work schedule and the upcoming Pujo season, this concept will make furniture shopping easier and stress free. Consumers can experience the products placed inside the mobile store, look for options and other products on iPAD and even book their furniture from the mobile store. The mobile store will be visiting different residential localities, so the potential customers can easily visit the mobile store and experience the Nesta Store.
Announcement of the Kolkata store is the second in the series of furniture retail stores to be launched across the country. Nesta envisages creation of 3.5 million square feet of retail space with 111 outlets in the next five years with a projected turnover of Rs 500 crore with an initial investment of Rs 100 crore. Centuryply plans to open almost 35 Nesta Furniture stores in the eastern region. The company plans to build Nesta as the foremost brand in the Indian readymade furniture industry through steady investments in the next five years. With online shopping being the latest trend with many Indian customers, Nesta will soon enter the e-retailing space to reach a wider market.
